	The Western States Trail Ride, popularly called the Tevis Cup Ride, is the oldest modern day endurance ride, having been held annually since 1955. As such, it has been the inspiration and model for the most challenging endurance rides worldwide.
	EasyCare is the Official Hoof Boot Company of the AERC and is a Platinum Sponsor. AERC Mission Statement: To promote the sport of endurance riding and to encourage and enforce the safe use of horses in demonstrating their endurance abilities in a natural setting through the development, use and preservation of trails.
	The North American Trail Ride Conference (NATRC) is one of a number of competitive trail ride organizations in the United States. A competitive trail ride is not a race, but competitors cover a marked course in a given period of time.
	After a quick call from Christoph Schork, Garrett Ford of Easycare Inc. is sending boxes of Easyboots to all of the USA riders. The course is hard and rocky, and the horses may need extra protection during the race.
	The primary objectives of the XP rides on the original trail are to preserve the historic trails through proper use and to maintain a trail link between Salt Lake and Carson City so that we and our descendants can relive the experiences of our pioneer forefathers as they saw this vast new country for the first time.
	The Nicholson Family has been involved in the sport of distance riding for a long time. We have actively competed in and managed Competitive Trail Rides, Endurance Rides and some special events, such as the cross-country rides on the Pony Express Trail. We enjoy the company of the riders who participate in distance riding sports and enjoy looking for new places to ride, camp, and share outdoor experiences.
	Lee "The Horselogger" Crafton is traveling across the United States, from Montana to Boston, and likely beyond, in a hand-made covered wagon, powered by a team of rare Suffolk Punch draft horses, and accompanied only by his two Great Pyrenees dogs. Lee's horses will complete the entire trip barefoot, using Easyboots when needed. Lee hopes that his trip will serve as solid evidence, if not proof, that barefoot horses have no performance limitations.
	The Mountain State Horse & Mule Council is an organization of people like you who love equines, have a stake in the future of the industry and recognize the need for representation of the equine community in West Virginia. There is power in numbers and that's what the Mountain State Horse & Mule Council is all about, equine enthusiasts uniting to ensure that our voices are heard at state and federal levels, the media, and public at large.
	The Old Dominion Endurance Ride, Inc. is proud to host this year's AERC 50 and 100 mile Endurance Championship at Fort Valley, VA on October 20-22, 2006.
	A very important goal for Aztrek is to showcase the Arizona trail as an amazing equestrian trail. It takes a lot of extra work to make a trail a multi-use trail to include horses, and we want to dedicate our ride to all of the hard work that the Arizona Trail Association has done so far and will need to do to finish this 800-mile with every step of it truly fit for equestrians.
